I am trying to connect via Firewire to a W2k OS. Is it true that I have to purchase the sony software in order to transfer the video data? My PC dosent even recognize that the camcorder is connected.... The HC 28 is the cheap model so I did not expect a whole lot of bells and whistles... but still, get me on the i-link bs, then software.. Ohhh sony, your so silly.
