I had my set serviced because of floating blacks. The service rep replaced the d-board, input board, and power supply. Afterwards he didn't send any kind of special signal to the set or do anything in the service menue outside of having a bunch of colors show up.

The floating blacks are mostly gone, but now I have a lot of noise. Lowering sharpness helps alot (sharpness never seemed to do anything before). Also, all of the presets on Cinema and Standard are diffent than before. .

Should he have sent a signal to the set?
