Hello,
I have a Panasonic 50" Plasma (TH-50PC77U --- the one you get from Costco). It is a 720p/1080i TV.
I have noticed something strange with the TV volume. I have my Comcast Motorola HD/DVR Cable Box hooked up to the HDMI 2 ouput. I have my Toshiba HD-D3 DVD player hooked up to HDMI 1.
When watching TV, I only have to put the volume to about 7-8 bars to get a nice loudness level. However, when watching a DVD I notice I have to put the volume to about 17-20 bars to get to the same loudness level. The volume on the cable box is set to 0, so that it is not adding extra volume, I don't think.
Any thoughts as to why?
Thanks.
