Curious what you all think of how the processing of units like the VP50 do vs. direct DVI connects (DVI-DVI) from PC to Plasma Monitor along with the available software to properly render the playback material? In a review from 2007, the reviewer felt software was superior to the VP50 and the VP50 couldn't do many things PC software can do. But my objective for subjective pleasure is about the video processing of a high-end HTPC w/proper software vs. the VP50 or any other outboard/standalone device.
