10 to 1 this thread turns into a critique the title thread and does NOT remain a discuss the BD release thread!

If this ends up being all region and has English audio with removable subs I'll be importing it. Thanks for the heads up Blurred!

critique is one thing but this is actually a sign that theese titles pops up at all, and on Blu-ray. Fantastic news imo.

nyg: its sweden we talk about, not germany. We always have optional subs, and we do not ever dub a movie, unless its an animation of some sort (pixar, disney etc) So the only thing that remains is the region.

Great to hear!

I wasn't sure about Swedish BDs or DVDs for that matter. I'm glad to hear they do the crap the Germans often do.

I'm looking forward to the release of this movie on Blu-ray. I wonder why we aren't seeing a release date for it here in the US? Either way I very much enjoyed this movie. I may just import it as long as it has english audio, removable subs and no specific region lock.

Weinstein owns the rights in the US and I believe they are not committing to HD yet? I think.

You have to keep in mind the company that has the rights in the US. ;)

Weinstein in this case. They have never supported Blu-ray. I wouldn't even consider them an HD DVD supporter anymore either as the haven't released anything on that format since June of 2007.

Thanks Dave Mack and GamerGuyX. I didn't know that. Hopefully I can import this then as long as there isn't a region lock and with english audio. Great movie in my opinion.

Yeah, I remember those!
I am region free and bought the French Flash Gordon PAL dvd and when you selected english 5.1 audio, it put the damned french subs up!
