Hey All,

I purchased the AVR-247 a few weeks ago and have been enjoying it thus far. I just bought a BIC H-100 sub ($245 incl. shipping!) and was wondering what cable should I use to hook it up to the receiver in order to eliminate/minimize this LFE bug I keep reading about. I'm also a bit confused about which cable to use...the AVR-247 manual shows that I should use a 6-plug RCA cable to hook up the sub, but I hear that others have just used a basic RCA sub cable from monoprice.

Any suggestions on how to best hook up my sub? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You should just need a standard male-male RCA cable. Not sure what you mean by 'LFE bug'.

thanks for the quick reply, Deneb. The LFE bug I was referring to is a known AVR 247 issue. I posted this on the AVR thread but got no response.

The 6-plug cable you are seeing in the manual is used to connect discreet DVD player output to the AVR discreet inputs. It is not referring to the sub woofer output. That is shown on page 17 as a single RCA cable. Don't confuse inputs and outputs.
