I will be ceiling mounting my new projector. I want a standard duplex AC outlet on the ceiling nearly, connected to ten guage Romex. Then I need
a non-standard AC outlet on the wall by my APC S15 UPS power conditioner.
The non-standard AC outlet should be a male three prong AC extending out from the wall. Then I can connect an AC extension cord (from the APC S15) to the non-standard wall outlet.
The Panamax In-Wall Power Kit (MIW-POWERKIT-TL) I think does this but I already have the ceiling outlet and Romex run and just need the non-standard outlet by my component rack.
Any ideas?

I would get a powerbridge kit. It runs about $55 direct from their web site. It is all you need without all the extra$$$ It really saves me time and money. You don't want to mess with trying to find all the parts yourself. If you google it I think it takes you to the site type it all one word. Good luck

Steve,
Curious? Any reason you're going 10ga Romex? Mine is all 14 and 12 gauge. I would thinkg 10 gauge would be hard to work with.

12ga is good for 20A, and is much easier to work with than 10 gauge. 14ga is good for 15A, and is easier than 12ga.
Of course, given that the Romex is run, the Romex already in your wall will be easier than the Romex not in your wall... :)

Only cause I used 10 guage Romex when I built my home theater room in 1997
for my many dedicated 20 amp same phase circuits.
.
Steve
spare romex then ;)
That is good for about 25 amps :) Better to have more than less! :)

Exactly!!!! Actually, 10 guage Romex is good for 30 amps if I ever wanted to change out the 20 amp to 30 amp. HA!

well the problem would be the highest rated 110v receptacle is for 20 amps :) Now if that romex was dual 14 guage then you could supply 15 amps to each outlet on a dual outlet receptacle :)

Make sure the male plug is recessed into the wall, not extending out from the wall like you stated, safety issue.
I just bought such a plug for $10 from the electric supply store for my A/V closet. Lot's of discussion here on that.
Jeez, 10 ga romex must be a pain to work with.
