OK I have been lurking on this forum for some time now. All I want to be able to do is stream DVD rips that are in .VOB containers to my tv. I have a PS3 and an XBOX 360 and have tried some of the workarounds with different levels of success, frustration, and headaches. I have thought about building a small HTPC so I can stream from my main PC and NAS. Another Idea was getting an old XBOX and using XBMC (kind of what I am leaning towards but I want a more "out of the box" solution). I have been waiting on the slingcatcher but again it seems to not be the right solution I'm not sure about the whole sling projector software. So heres my list of wants

Stream VOBs easily
Decent interface
As plug and play as possable
And trying to stay away from crazy software solutions.

Am I asking too much? It seems something out there would meet my needs but I cant find it. Thanks guys
