Hey guys I have done a lot of reading on here and I have one quick question. Right now I have 2 polk RTi6s for mains and a Polk CSi3 for my center. I am now looking to add a sub and rears. I have picked out my rears and there was a really big wife factor in selecting those but I am going to use 2 polk rm101s because they are small and they need to be hung on the wall.

My question for you is the sub. This is my first sub so I do not need something outragious plus I do not want to spend over $250 for it shipped but I would really like to stay under $200.

I have looked around and there is a lot of talk about the VX10 and the Bic H-100 sub. I know the Bic is the better of the 2. bigger driver and better range and all that but is it that much better. I found the VX10 for $170 shipped and the Bic is going to be $250 shipped for sure so is the Bic $80 better?

The wife wants the cheaper one of course. What should I do here? IF i say the Bic is that much better she will be cool with it but I want to make sure. I do not want to waste money here. I also do not need some huge sub. a decent one will probably blow me away!

Yeah bic is definetely worth it, its the least expensive subwoofer thats worth buying at all, so go for it.

x2 yes imo the bic is worth the price diff of the VX10. If you have to stay < $200 the VX10 isn't a bad choice however the H-100 will dig deeper in the frequency range with more output overall and be able to fill the area better if you have anything but a small room, plus looks better to if that matters to you.
