I have to set up my theater in my livingroom and right now I have some shelves at the back of the room where I can place my projector rather then ceiling mount it.

The distance from the shelves to where the screen (106") will be is about 22' so I am wondering if there is such a projector capable of handling that distance.

Anyone here have long throw?

Funny, I was just thinking about this very issue ... I got this PJ last week and was figuring out where to place it. My distance is also 22' ... wow, real ESP ;) ... you must have read my mind a few mins ago :D :D

Basically I believe that my Epson 720 can do this, but I am not sure what that is going to do to the lumens output - plus, the minimum screen size would need to be 99". See this calculator:
