Everyone please help,
I recently bought a Hsu VTF-2 MK3, and about few
days ago, we started to notice there is a buzzing noise coming from
the subwoofer while we were watching movie from TV, and even watching
the Grammy Award, during the piano duet part. It sound like the subwoffer trys to make some noise when it's not suppose to. Today it happened again while we were watching Dvd. It is very disturbing/depressing at the same time. I paired it with onkyo 705 and aperion speakers.

Lower your crossover. If that doesn't help you might have a bad ground.

I crossover it at 80 Hz.

Is there anyway to test if I had a bad ground? however the noise started to showed up few days ago, plus the noise is specific to certain part of the moive/scene, usually a quite scene. I guess it could probably be there, i just coundn't hear the noise due the louder scene.

What changes did you do / add to your system a "few days ago" ?

If nothing changed, then try to tighten all the amp & driver mounting screws.

If that does not help are you sure its coming from the sub and not something in your room ?

What about pictures on walls ?

Doors can make a buzzing sound.

Do you have a dimmer on any of your lights ?
