Through my job I have a decent discount on both, but regardless, which is the better one in your guys opinion. These are the best subs I have access to so please don't recommend other makes. I do about 40% gaming, 40% dedicated music listening which is only two channel, and about 20% movie and tv watching. I listen to a lot of 90's alternative rock, classic rock, jazz, blues, and primarily play action games and driving games, all at high volumes. I'm rolling with some ML clarity's and some Vienna Mozart grands (I can't decide which to build upon into 5.1 and which to keep for just 2 channel music, but that's another quest entirely, and whichever goes to my two channel will earn itself a sub in the future) so who has had a chance to really play with these beasts? My store only keeps them on special order so I've never been blessed to hear them. Currently my room is way too small for either, but gotta get them while I can, and I've been labeled somewhat of a "bass head," so I'm going to rock one of them. ML's website really acknowledges that their subs are designed to not interfere with electrostat panels, granted the MLs are finicky at best to set up, but would the DT be a cancellation in the MLs performance? I hope not, but it is designed to match up with their traditional cone driven speakers. I want to purchase soon. Please, any feedback would be fantastic. Thanks.

Woops, had more to say. The ML is servo controlled, which highly intrigues me. I want accurate, responsive, and defined bass (who doesn't?) Is the Trinity servo controlled? It seems like it would need to be, having multiple drivers and such, or does the internal amp feed into a crossover internally and the individual drivers cover different frequency ranges? Bummer the DT only comes in black, I like the cherry finish they have on other models. So, two 14" drivers and a butt load of radiators? Or three 10" drivers? Oh, and any recommendations on overlapping crossovers of the sub and speaker (as in both covering between 80hz down to 40hz) or a more defined cut off between the two would be sweet. I should guess that would be mostly personal preference but if there is any theory to it, I'd love to know. Does any one know the throw distance of the drivers? Or which has a better rated internal amp? And the last thought is do the radiators muddy up the sound? Are they connected to any sort of motion correction? Seems to me that the radiators can produce a whole lot of pressure in a room (based on the supercubes we have) but bass seems to linger after the initial boom compared to the dynamo and abyss. Such as a kick drum in a rock song, the umph seems more accurate in terms of music on the abyss then the supercube 2. TOO MANY QUESTIONS! :) Thanks again.
