My faithful old Z2 has somehow gone into a mode where the AV system menu displays only 1080i, so that I can't get into the screen menu and fix the fact that the screen images are horizontally stretched. Damned if I know what I did to cause this, but I can't seem to reverse it. Anybody know what I should do?

Can you press the reset on he back of the Z2? Also have you tried unplugging it for about 5 mins?.

What sources have you tried? Did you try feeding it plain old compsite video (the yellow rca)? My cable box via component forces my z2 into a mode that only allows it to display what the cable box sends it, so if i set the cable to 1080i, that is all the z2 will allow. Could it be your source forcing the z2? There is a menu setting for auto on z2
