COSTCO BUMMER!

I ordered the Invisamount I4-A1-S, an articulating flat panel mount from Costco. I have a brand new 52" Samsung LCD that I really want to mount, and thought this mount would do the trick. I just received an email from Costco telling me that due to an overwhelming response for this item they are delaying my order for two weeks. WHAT IS THAT ABOUT? I googled the model number and found only Chinese sites that have this item. If this product is coming from China and is selling to the one of the largest retailers in the US...why wouldn't they have shipped enough to the states to keep in stock? Who is to blame the poor planning on Costco's part, or the Chinese manufacturer who can't determine the demand? I think I may cancel the order and go with another mount manufacturer. What do you all think? I need recommendations because I just want to hang my flat panel.

Check out the "mount finders" at sanus.com or peerlessmounts.com - you'll likely find one of their mounts that'll be similar to Costco's Invisamount. Then, contact some of the forum sponsors or check Amazon for price quotes on the model(s) you're interested in. I expect you'll be able to find a replacement at a comparable price, and can have it delivered within a few days.

Good luck!

I don't know who is responsible for this lack of planning, but I think we should find out who it is and have them publicly excoriated!!!

Or alternatively, is it possible to suffer through watching your FP on its stand for 2 weeks?

Watch out for the long step down from your stirrups.

I ordered this mount from costco and got a similar response but they gave me
not only the rebate but a $25.00 credit for all the trouble. The product came within 1 week of letter in great shape. It really works well for me.
Good luck on whatever choice you choose.

Looks the same as this one from readysetmount

http://www.readysetmount.com/P17.htm

Does the costco one extend 26" from the wall?

I suspect you can't get the screen to go right angles to the wall with a 52" but you might with a 46"?
