OK I have copied some o my dvds to my mbp, downlaoded dvdpedia, and am tryign to get this thin to work with the apple remote. I would like to do the following:

load dvdpedia fullscreen view with the apple remote by clicking the menu button

move to the movie I want to watch with the remote

click the center play button and have the dvd load- going to the menu is ok for now

And, I would love to know how to have the default loaded program be dvdpedia full screen view when the computer boots up.

Please- can someone tell me if this is possible, if so how to do it, and i this has already been covered point me to where it has.

Thank you.

Pretty sure it's already been covered. You might do a search for DVDpedia and see what you come up. I would also strongly suggest the forum over at DVDpedia where you can get more specific help and interact with the programmer.

Your header elluded to DVDpedia, FrontRow, or what. DVDpedia and FrontRow are pretty different. I've tried DVDpedia, Frontrow, Frontrow 2, CenterStage, Media Central, xHub, and many others for months. What you use is going to depend on your needs. After getting all the different programs set-up and working what I decided on was xHub as I can boot-up the mini and it comes right up, gives me posters, and the interface is pretty solid and polished. As XBMC gets more up to speed I may go that direction since it also allows meta data, better automation of data entry, and some additional options.

Let me know if you have any questions.
