I have a 47" Toshiba Regza, Xbox 360, Panasonic BD30, and Directv HD-DVR set up. I only have the speaker on the tv - no surround sound. All 3 are hooked up via an HDMI cable. When trying to play a video game the sound keeps fading in an out - it sounds like it is "skipping" and I'm missing most of the audio. It was doing this for my blu-rays too - but at the moment, for some unknown reason it is working with my blu-ray player (last night it did not.) All brand new equipment - brand new HDMI's.

Any ideas? is there a certain setting I should select on my tv?? I've been battling this for a couple days and I'm about ready to pull my hair out. Any help would be appreciated!!!

If you can get the problem to reoccur then switch inputs (say from your X Box input to TV or DVD). I suspect that the problem will persist meaning that the problem resides in your TV eliminating all o your inputs. If your TV still is under warranty then I would get it checked out. If not you could resolve this issue with a surround sound set up of some kind.
