I was looking at 123radios and they list the Sangean WFT-1 Wifi Internet Radio Component w/Network Player w/FM-RDS (RBDS) w/MP3 Set Top Box as being available end of March 2008.

But - the Sangean site says May 2008.
"As from May 2008 the new model WFT-1 will be available. This is a tuner to combine with you Hi-Fi system for an ever more thrilling music experience. The functions are comparable to the WFR-20 but it offers even more internet channels (up to 16.000) and additional FM-radio."

Usually I don't resurrect my own posts when they are this old, but in this case it might be appropriate. I saw this today in an Ultimate Electronics in Burnsville MN this afternoon and it re-kindled my interest in this. Although they has a price of $350, I see it can be bought for less on line, of course. Anyway, does anybody happen to know if they are getting ready tho clearance this device?

I recently purchased a Sangean WFT-1 WiFi radio and love it... except for a few stations that it cannot seem to connect to. They just try to connect, and then "network error" is displayed. The thing they all have in common is that they use WMA 66K streaming. When I go to the stations' websites, they stream to my computer, no problem. There are some stations I would really like to listen to, but this problem is annoying. Any suggestions?
I also get this "network error" message on the WFT-1 on low bit rate WMA streams, which can be listened to just fine on a PC. Any solution? Has anybody contacted Sangean about this?

Can you provide a few examples of such streams?
Thanks!
