A friend recently mended my broken little heart with the idea of a home theater. So I'm considering getting a projector for second room. The throwing distance is about 12 feet onto 75-90 inch screen (diagonally) and is going to be shelf bound. The room has some ambient light with a window and might add a small lamp later on, but overall the room is quite dark.
I am aware that I'm in seperate markets with these two projectors, but for gaming and HD video is it worth the jump in $ for the Epson?
So here are my questions and concerns:
The Panasonic has 2000 lumen while the Epson has 1600 is this really that much brighter and noticeable?

Also, looking to use it as a computer screen for all the stuff regularly done on computer.

Is 720p much more noticeable than 1080p because alot of my content will be 1080?

Later on, I might switch the projector over to my regular viewing television good idea or bad idea??
