Harmony 659

I know this is a wide range of remote prices, but I am wondering what you guys prefer.

I've gone to CC and picked up a 550, One and older style like the 659...

Obvuously the $250 One has touch screen. Is that really that useful? It has a sharper LCD and the remote layout(buttons and molding) is very nice.

The 720 can be had for about $150. Looses the touch screen. Buttons are close together at the bottom, didn't bother me too much at CC. I noticed that Logitech doesn't have this listed on thier site and was wondering why? Seems like a nice compromise.

The 550 is the lowest model of the new style. Looses the color LCD. No charge dock, batteries only. Is that a big issue? Looks perfectly capable for the $70 price.

The 659 is the old style. $50 price is great.

Anybody have some more insight to my choices here? Anything I am overlooking as far as features or negatives to these models?

I have the 550 and can only comment on that one. I paid $80 for it on sale. I love the activities concept. The only negatives are that on the sleek-looking remote, the buttons are close together and sometimes hard to push (meaning I sometimes have to push a button twice to get the desired action, but I'm getting better at at after a couple of months of use). To get an idea of what I was looking for, I have no desire/need for a touch screen (in fact, I prefer hard buttons to any kind of lcd screen, and have only my most infrequently used "buttons" on the screen), color screen, or a charging stand. I also DO like the fact that the 550 (unlike a couple of the others) has an "A" and a "B" hard button -- I mapped "Swap" and "MyDVR" to those buttons -- very useful, since I was used to it on my other remote.

I should add that I am using the 550 to control a Sony TV, Pioneer receiver, Comcast Motorola DVR and Series 2 TiVO. (I've also set it up so it can be used upstairs with a JVC TV, Comcast Motorola DVR and Series 2 TiVO). It works with all of those.
