I have condo down the Jersey Shore and thinking to buy new receiver and speakers. Needs advice on the wall mounted speakers. Axiom Epic 175, 350 and 500 versus Aperion 632 Concert set. It is going to in to living room with hardwood floor. Axiom looks like more expensive but I want to do it right. Thanks

How about those RBH knockoffs, EPM? They are 50% off. You did say on-wall speakers, right?

They aren't knockoffs. EMP is part of RBH. Here's an announcement (http://forums.audioholics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40516&highlight=EMP+speakers)on the Audioholics forum.

I own the 533Ts and think they sound great. A subwoofer is a most. I haven't heard the Aperion speakers in question or the Axioms. Aperion offers shipping both ways. It wouldn't hurt to try them out. No cost to you if you decide not to keep them.

HP, as an Axiom owner I would highly recommend their products. I haven't had the chance to hear Aperions but they have a pretty good reputation as well. One option would be to check the Axiom Audition threads as most likely there is someone in your area that would invite you into their home and have a listen. Also, you can save 10% of regular prices if you order from their Factory Outlet and another 5% when you purchase 5 or more items, including accessories. Good Luck

I would decide this battle solely on return policy, and trade in options. Aperion wins that part hands down. As far as sound goes, have not hear Axiom, liked Aperion's sound, but apparently some models are not very different from each other.

If you heard and liked the Aperion sound, than why don't you base your hands down decision on that? IMO how the two conduct business is secondary.;)

Know what you mean, but in another thread I mentioned that I have heard mixed reviews about Axiom, and I would have my doubts about them, and I got an earful of people mad at the fact that I said when I hadn't auditioned them; even though my post started saying that I had not auditioned and my opinion was based on what I read.

So, as not to upset anyone I decided to be more politically correct as to not step on anyone's toes.

Being honest, I heard Aperion liked their sound, and think that they have the best return/trade up/trade in policies in the business.
