Hi all

I use my Synology NAS CS407 FW 0571 to store all my media, then stream over UPNP to my PS3 v.2.10. DVDs are converted using DVDFab to either a single .vob file or several 1gb files - everything fine so far.

When opening the video folder of my PS3 I don't see the .ifo file, which would allow me to more easily jump between chapter and choose subtitles etc.

Can someone point me the right direction, am I doing anything wrong - I don't want to convert to any other format (mp4)

Thanks
bernhard

Don't waste your time. Been there, done that. PS3 does not support anything but the individual files (.vob) from a DVD. All the menus and extra features, sub-title control, audio choices etc. are lost. The people over there who bother to take the time to write in response to this issue only want to stick up for Sony's choice to not support .ifo and .bup (control files for DVD), or they just tell you to be happy with what you have.
