Love the Greek mythology setting for these game. I played the crap out of 1 and 2, beat hardest difficulties, unlocked everything and I am really looking forward seeing what they can do on next gen hardware.

no screenshots, no videos, no formal announcement that this game is even in development. however, from what i've read, i wouldn't expect this game any earlier than '09.

edit: i just checked ign, and it has been confirmed by sony that it's in development.

Man I want to pick up right where 2 left off, Titans climbing Mt. Olympus to square of with the Gods. Should be epic!

Yea, he pretty much stated it's coming. You've gotta figure it's comin, they kind of left us hangin at the end of 2. If I'm not mistaken Barlog isn't working on this one right?

On a completely unrelated note I just realized Cory Barlog's last name sounds almost like Balrog which is really cool.

2 came out last year. Way, way, way too early to be asking about this one.

A PSP prequel to the first God of War is coming in a couple weeks (http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?cId=3166395). It looks to be awesome.

If you don't have a PSP yet... it might be time to think about snagging one. I got one for Christmas and thought I wouldn't use it much because I don't play my DS very often. However, I've use the PSP almost daily.

Gamestop or amazon or someone had a pre-order/release date on this for March 2009, This seems a bit early. I can't find where I saw it.That's a total guess, probably based on the fact that God of War 1 was released in March 2005 and GoW2 in March 2007. So March 2009 seems logical enough.

But there's been absolutely no indication of where the team is in development. All we've seen was that teaser trailer so far. We've neither heard nor seen a thing publicly. Might happen. Might not.
