I am looking to upgrade a Panasonic TH-37WD4UZ, with one of the 2007 50" models, most likely the 50PZ77U. The 37" is mounted with a peerless PSW series, believe it is a PSW-PAN42. The manual for the mount said it was for Panasonic 37"-50" plasmas...but that was probably about 6 yrs ago or so.....my question is, did Panasonic leave the mounting bolt positions, and screw type/thread the same as they put out new generation panels? It would be nice if I could use the same mount.

Thanks

It will probably work on the Pro Plasma models but I'm afraid not on the consumer units. Check with Peerless on the weight rating to be sure it can handle a new 50 inch.

In case anyone else wants to know, the 6yr old peerles mount fit on an 08 50" panasonic consumer model. Was happily surprised they kept the same spacing through out the model yrs.
