I accidently deleted this folder under video today,is i t needed and if so how can i get it back

It's so profile 1.1/2.0 BD movies can save information. (It's the "mandated storage" that all 1.1/2.0 players must have.)

I'm not sure, but I would think it would be recreated automatically when needed. If you have a copy of Cars, try playing the "spot the vehicle" game and see if it's able to save your progress.
