I purchased a Sanus mount (model#VMSA) and when I hung the 5080 on it the TV is not level. The wall plate is level but the TV is leaning to the left, and it's fairly noticeable when you stand back and look at it. I took a measurement from the bottom corners of the TV to the floor and it's off a little over an inch.
Short of returning the mount is there a fix I could perform? Anyone else ever had this problem?

Just a suggestion: take the TV off of the wall, and check the location of the bolts that attach the mounting brackets to the back of your TV. I have a Sanus VMPL3, so am not sure if the brackets are the same configuration as yours. On mine, the "bolt slots" on the brackets are about 1.5" long, and would allow about that much movement if the bolts aren't completely "snugged down". If your brackets look like this, I'd guess you'll find that one of the brackets has slipped a bit when you hung the TV and its' full weight was on the brackets for the first time. See if you can find a pair of "slots" in the brackets where the bolts will both be at the "top end" of the slots - if the bolts are tightened down well, that should prevent any slippage. I hope that's your problem - otherwise, I can't picture what's going on (unless the wall plate has also "shifted on one side", meaning the lag bolts into your wall studs are not secure  ...)
Good luck!
with VMSA, most likely you are using one round hole and one slot to mount the rails that attach to the TV. so first thing to check is that you are using the same seq# hole (e.g. the 7th from the bottom) for each rail. sounds simple but an easy mistake to make. if that is not the problem, and the difference is an in inch try offsetting the rails as suggested by swlee. except that you will still use one round and one slot but hole is offset on one rail. this may not make it perfect but it will reduce the error significantly.
an inch+ delta is too much to suspect the floor but i helped a friend install his panny. no matter what we did it look crooked. the reason turned out to be that the floor and ceiling were not parallel (off by 1/2" over the width of the tv). so finally we split the difference.
