I recently hooked up my new Monoprice 5X HDMI switcher and it seems to be working fine for my cable box and computer but my Panny blu ray player has a snowy picture. I mean white dots all over the place.
All my HDMI cables are Phillips and the blu ray player works fine when directly connected to the tv so that kind of leaves out the hdmi cable or the tv.
I have also plugged in the player to different ports on the switch while unplugging the other cables just to make sure they weren't interfering and still no luck.
I still have a Toshiba A2 HD player to buy a cable for and hook up. Tonight I was going to see if I had the same problem with that player too.
I've searched the forums and havn't found anything that gives a good example of what could cause this.
