View Full Version : Dual Shock 3 system date?
HDTV-NUT 02-22-08, 10:51 PM I know there must be a few threads about this but I cant seem to put together the right keywords for what I am looking for.
I plan on buying a PS3 soon but I want to wait until I can buy the PS3 system with the Dual Shock 3 controller included. Is there a confirmed date on when the systems will include the dual shock 3 controllers? Thanks

Guy Legend 02-23-08, 01:10 PM The only official word for the dualshock 3's by SCEA is "spring". We were hoping that there would be more updated info at GDC, but that didn't prove to be the case.
What I can tell you is that the controller in almost all certainty, will be out by mid April (release of GT5 prologue). Hopefully, the new 120gb/160 sku is released by then as well.

last question, are all the games being made now incorperating the rumble feature to the games. lets say Metal Gear Solid 4.

Correct if you can't wait go to playasia and get one i'm sure there are coupons here in the forum I got mine last week:D lovin it I hope cod 4 gives us rumble in the next patch but I haven't seen it mentioned

402 at the IW forums says this...
"At this point we have no plans to add in rumble support for the new DUAL SHOCK 3 controller. Although it would be awesome to have the full rumble the game was designed to have, just don't think we'd be able to do it at this point."

does playasia have the whole system with the DS3 controller for sale? can i even buy the Japanese version of the system? or is the power supply different, no english settings etc..?
