So, I've been waiting for HDMI ver 1.3a to be implemented on a new version of my pre-amp. As I was cruising their message board, I discovered there is a delay from the chip manufacturers. Looks like HDMI ver 1.3a might not appear in receivers & pre-amps as soon as we thought.

It was then reportedly redesigned after CEDIA 2007 in September with a promised (and missed) release date of December 2007. Multiple sources tell AVRev.com that the new chip from Cirrus Logic is far better with the post-CEDIA changes.
