Comcast turned on ON DEMAND at my house last week, and while I like having all the movies available the interface is absolutely terrible...probably the worst user interface I've seen in any product for a long time. First of all, in spite of having hundreds of movies to scan through, you can still only look at 5 titles at a time, or is it 6? The upper left of the screen is a HUGE disgusting logo (which does not help to find a movie) and the upper right is a God only knows what film clip playing continuously which has nothing to do with any movie you might be looking for....it's complete nonsense and unnecessary distraction from a user point of view. This is all not to mention that you have to figure out that there is a horizontal menu across the bottom of the screen that changes what the vertical menu displays. Whoever put this together utterly failed graphic design classes. AS a user, I want 100% use of the vertial space to display a movie list as long as possible; I do not want to see animations that bear no relationship to the movie(s) I'm searching for, and I want to see previews of movies on demand, not a short list of previews that Concast has prepackaged. This interface detracts horribly from what is really a service improvement, albeit at a higher movie price. If you feel the same let Comcast know. I just emailed them. BTW, I'm in Houston.
