I'm looking for a new set but am limited to only a 54" Width. The 60" sony 60a3000 is exactly 54" but the 61" samsungs are 54.8", which will not fit. Any other suggestions or recommendations?

There's not much RP choice in that size range now. The Samsung 56 inch DLPs will fit as will some 52 inch flat-panels. The Toshiba 57LX177 flat-panel LCD is slightly under 54 inches. It's an excellent set (the only FP that tempts me to switch from RP) but currently very pricey. The market is waiting to see the specs on Mitsubishi's promised laser sets due later this year.

I face exactly the same width limitation and am hoping that Samsung may extend their upcoming A750 series into the 56 inch size.
