I just got an ATV over the weekend, and so far, really like it. I've been a Mac guy for years, so no surprise there.

Anyway, I have my ATV connected via HDMI in my receiver and displaying on my projector. Thing is, I don't want to fire up my projector every time I just want to stream some music.

Does anyone know of some sort of additional small display I could connect to the AppleTV to be able to navigate music without having to switch on the pj?

I guess you want a specific model of a tv. I can't help.:D But, you might consider going to BB or Costco, etc., and getting the cheapest, smallest lcd tv you can find with component input and use it.

I'm thinking more like some tiny little LCD or something. Like a 4 or 5 inch screen. Be great to grab the display off of a portable DVD player or something like that...

AirTunes from your Mac to stream the music in the situations you don't want to power-on the projector won't work? (This is what I do - and I also just got the ATV this weekend... :))

Can I control from the Mac what I want streamed in the Theater Room? (Mac is at the other end of the house.)
