What size RPTV do you own(if more than one choose your main viewing one)
and how far away do you sit?(sorry but I excluded 50" as I had limited poll options and most go bigger with rptv's)
Also, I know some would like bigger and/or to sit closer but can't or don't for whatever reason, so if you'd like to chime in with your 'ideal' set-up that would be nice.

I have a KDS-60A3000 and sit approx. 11 feet away. It would look great closer but layout of the room does not permit putting the couch in the middle of the room.

I have a 57" Mitsubishi and sit from 5-8 ft away. Even about 15 feet away it looks.

55" SXRD and sit 10' or 14' away depending on what seat I get. SD content looks like crap from 10', much less noticeable at 14'

Meant to include 55" with 56"/57".
I wish I could have done it with 50" sets as well and with all the sizes with all the seating ditances and less range each too.

64" year-2000 Philips 64PH9905 CRT RPTV, sitting 8' away for recommended ~33-degree-wide images, with excellent 1080i and SD (480i/720p converted to 1080i). NYC TWC system/STB, unfortunately, limited to 1290 lines (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?postid=5175424#post5175424) maximum effective horizontal resolution, although the RPTV's 9" guns should resolve more. -- John

11 feet back from my 52 inch 720p D-ILA bought in 2005. It's fine for SD and the kind of overcompressed HD one often sees over satellite, but as the proportion of good HD increases I'm sure I'll want a bigger set next time.
10.5 feet away from my 60A3000 SXRD, and I think it's fine. SD content is acceptable.

Mits WS-73615 (Steve Martin ISF Cal) sitting 9.5 feet. Blu-Ray, HD-DVD and DirectTV HD-DVR looks great. The only problem is my room is 25 feet long and hearing the rears is tough, sit too close to the fronts.

Mitsubishi WD-73734 sit 11 ft away, great picture in HD, at that distance I do see some minor artifacts when viewing SD
