Hi I have a AE700u, it has a trigger port on the rear, my reciever also has a trigger port.

I want to have my reciever shut down th eprojector when i turn my reciever off, is this possible? i brought the cable but it's not working. help!

The trigger in your projector "outputs" 12v so it can trigger a Motorized screen ,
The reason it won't work with your avr is because the avr is "Outputting" 12v also which is mainly used to trigger an outboard amp.

okay, so there is no way to accomplish this?
