It appears the Java-encoding problems in loading this disc are not limited to the JVC (it freezes approximately 7 seconds after the FBI warning and the scene selection menu remains on the display if you try to bypass the main start up sequence). It also completely locks my Oppo when trying to load - I am on roughly three minutes of a blank screen. I have had to manually eject the disc - oppo is rendered nearly unresponsive, as is JVC.

The disc does play without problem (albeit terribly slowly) on the Pioneer 320, LG BH200, Samsung 25X0 and Denon 1800.

I have confirmed this bug on both of my Oppos and my JVCs. Disconnecting the ethernet makes no difference.

Now begins the real test of this player -how does JVC support their product?
