Yeah, I agree. There's something seriously good about this little space. Looks comfy, complete and perfect for movies with a few friends.
The walls certainly look different with the lights on or off. They look tan coloured with light. Well done ! Tom.

Looks great to me. A name? How about "Orange-You-Here-For Home Theater"?
Have you ever wished your front side speakers were 5 inches shorter or that you could mount your screen 5 inches higher? I think small, cozy, well dressed spaces like this create a very special world for movie watching. |

-I use media center 2005
-walls are just paint with matte paint - the subwoofer is behind the couch in the corner (forget to write it in the setup its a velodyne 12")

the walls are concrete the roof is the same color as the walls
-the effect is exactly what i was looking for with lights on 100% looks very bright the pictures looks orange its because of the camera filter , and with lights off you can see anything completly dark no bounce light at all. - the screen its a MDF panel paint with Behr silverscreen paint, get the advice from the forums by the way this is an apartment .

Hi Reaven your room looks awesome. Very similar to mine actually. Did you add any extra ventilation for your projector?? I am building that part of my room right now.
And I think after looking at yours I may need to put some little soffet lights in..it looks awesome on yours. Ryan |

Great job on the room, I know pictures sometimes come out darker than seeing it in real life but It seems to have a great atmosphere. Two thumbs up.

the problem i was thinking is that the floor already have a rug if i build a simple wood box i dont think it will sit flat on the floor dont know if you know what i mean , i have to in someway make the box to have some weight beside the speaker because if not the speaker will fall from the box.
i hate sand its a mess so fill the box with sand is not an option. so......?

Screw the box to the wall. shouldn't take many to keep it rigid enough to keep it from falling. |
