AnyDVD HD 6.1.6.7 released

Slysoft has released their latest version of AnyDVD HD; version 6.1.6.7

AnyDVD HD 6.1.6.7 released

AnyDVD HD removes encryption (AACS) from HD-DVDs & Blu-ray discs & allows you to watch movies over a digital display connection, without HDCP compliant graphics card and HDCP compliant display.

There is plenty of documentation here regarding the effectiveness of this software. Just as the OP states...

"AnyDVD HD removes encryption (AACS) from HD-DVDs & Blu-ray discs & allows you to watch movies over a digital display connection, without HDCP compliant graphics card and HDCP compliant display."

There are those that - even though they have an HDCP compliant graphics card and display (like myself) - still need this software to correctly play HD-DVDs and Blu-ray discs.

This software is a must for my setup, I have an 8800gts without hdcp and without this software, I would not be able to play hddvds or blu-rays. I also use it for playing regular dvds. It used to be that over an analog connection (component cables) you could not display macrovision protected dvds, and over a digital connection it was downgraded to 480p, rather than letting xp or vista upscale the dvd to 1080p. DVD's are still contain macrovision protection on them but I don't notice since it's not an issue anymore.
