Comcast HD PPV?

Morning folks. I have Comcast. Everytime we order HBO boxing ppv, the feed is only analog. I contacted Comcast and they say that it's how they do it. I was really jealous with my friend since he's able to watch it in HD(Uverse). There is no U-verse in our area since the village have a contract with Comcast for 10 friggin years. I was just told about this.

So, is the analog ppv thing really like that in Comcast?

Thanks.

Comcast has HD PPV in many, but not all areas.

Once you get the analog channel reduction / HD channel addition (Project Calvary), it typically gets added.

Be specific with topic titles, see my edit.

Hopefully, it happens soon. It's been a long wait for me.

Thanks for changing the title. I wasn't sure if I was posting on the right forum.

You could ask others in your local forum if anyone knows when the change is scheduled for, it should take place sometime before the end of 2010.

Can somebody verify if those GGW type shows on HDPPV are actually in HD or not?

Can you get any HD in demand? If you can get HD in demand, then I think there should be a way to get HD PPV.

No. Not all areas that have On Demand have HD PPV.

BAM! Just finished talking to Comcast. They are targetting to start broadcasting PPV HD by the end of this year. If it doesn't complete, he said, that it will be complete by end of Q1 in our area.
