ESPN2 had real problems starting prior to the Filly & Mare Sprint- audio went out picture pixelated and went out and in every few seconds. Awful - it ruined the F&M Sprint and seemed to go on forever. I was having this problem on a Dish 622 DVR. I got so disgusted I tuned in to the SD broadcast for awhile and that seemed to be OK. They eventually got it fixed before the F&M Classic.

did not have that problem here yesterday, I'm out of Comcast Plymouth County, MA

for some reason it seems like ABC's coverage had a bit better "Pop" to it, than what ESPN is showing now it must be me becuae it has to be the camera camera's same everything. but anywho still looks realy nice on ESPN as ell though ESPN has too much clutter on the screen.
Go Summer Bird

Thumbs up

ESPN is doing an all around great job with this production.

Anyone want to declare some picks for the Classic?

My picks are:

Twice Over / Summer Bird / Colonel John

Cya at the cash out window

Colonel John Huh? He is due for a big win this year especially on the Pro Ride surface.

But I'm going with Summer Bird. Would make for a Great Year, Belmont, Travers, Jockey Club Gold Cup and maybe the Breeder's Cup

Nice run by Conduit just now

Horse racing as a sport should be put to sleep.

Yeah, that was a great one. All the “pundits” threw him out.

I like Summer Bird but I don’t know how he’ll handle the poly.

If you have two bucks to burn, drop it on Twice Over or Rip Van Winkle. There are some nice “long shots” in the Classic.

As for the Colonel, I’ve lost some good change on him so why not bet him where he likes to run—SA

I played an assortment of bets heavy on triples, going for the big cash out.

Yeah did you see Mutt n Chops emphatically said to throw out Conduit and said the same thing about Zenyatta.

I am rooting against Zenyatta, I'm a Rachel Alexandra fan.

Yeah I'm with on that but I would hate to see RA on Zenyatta turf though.

Neutral course and I say let's get it on.

I’d love to see a match race (on dirt ) but unlikely… too much at steak… speaking of steak, my horses… ....but then again, I hit the board with Twice Over. My boys were there but they just couldn’t close the deal.
