I'm always amazed at how much equipment NFL Network takes to these thursday night games. This show is on par with SNF/MNF. I guess they don't do much else besides studio shows (and it's not like the NFL is hurting for money).

Does not hurt that they are owned by the league and do not have to worry about a large rights fees to broadcast the games either.

Very odd, they just showed a play live from the high endzone camera.

Yea i saw that high endzone play too. Wonder if someone burned the director. Is it still Curt Gowdy, Jr? MNF has starting using high EZ for kickoffs which is kinda odd.

PQ is average to me on Comcast. Not great not terrible. Stereo mix sounds good, but of course, surround is the norm for football these days so its actually a little weird to only be getting a stereo mix.

The zoom on the replay for the challenge is a pixelated joke. You would think the NFL could afford a quality slo-mo cam for replays.

Video quality looks horrible during halftime, and really the last two minutes of the first half.

What is the problem with the 5.1 surround? I noticed right away it was stereo and said to the wife... hmmm looks like they are having 5.1 issues again.

I will say the video quality is top-notch! Running DirecTV HD in South Bend, IN

Is the personal foul automatically assessed on the kickoff or is it a team option between the kickoff and the extra point try? If it is a team option, knowing they have to go for two, why not take the penalty on the try.

Good game, good pic quality, good sound. So-so announcing crew, only big mistake was mixing up Culver with Gibril Wilson, and then Matt Millen still getting it wrong right after the other guy corrected himself and pointed out it was Culver.

Then why won't Time-Warner carry it?
