Not sure if this info goes in this thread or the other.

I wiki'ed storm and zayra today. This is turning in to a hobby, having fun.

Wiki listed Zayra's MySpace page. There's some good pictures of her there, some with friends.

There are 4 songs on the page. When you load up the page the first song 'This is Love' automatically starts playing. I dig the second half of the song, the first half is decent. Thumping guitar with Zayra's voice really works for me.

http://www.myspace.com/zayra

hoo, one of the other 4 songs 'rock me baby' is a comtemporary trip too.

notable user comment on zayra's myspace page:

.........

Storm's wiki page is well developed.
It nested with Storm related sites including fan sites. I went to one of the fan sites. Within it was nested recordings of bootlegg performances. I went to merely one of the bootleg links and found this:
http://www.stormdownloads.com/
Just the one link has a long organized list of downloadable mp3s. The two I clicked on were magically, coincidentally? very good.

heck here's the two I'm talking about

Warning: 1st one not work safe

http://www.stormdownloads.com/audio/...0060415_11.mp3 (Ladylike - fowl language)
http://www.stormdownloads.com/audio/...0060415_02.mp3 (A Little Rain - contrastingly classy)

Switching over to American Idol...

I just found a YouTube video where Kelly Clarkson is singing with "Metal Skool". (Metal Skool are an L.A. based glam metal parody band).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4sJMcgeDe0

And here they are with Justin Guarini
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATbYeAIDxs8

and Constantine...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MIIM9ia5P4

Kelly talks about the Metal Skool appearance here (just before the 6 minute mark):

show cancelled this year

I've read that the Rockstar franchise was not renewed this year (2007)... too bad, the last 2 seasons were very entertaining.

there were two seasons? <snork>

anyone know what zayra is doing?

I heard one of her old school spanish songs at a mexican restruant two weeks ago.
I like about half of the 'Hoy' album (edit: album is Ruleta).

I just wiki'd her. Wiki says she graduated with a 4.0 in highschool, and joined bands on a quest of self discovery. I think I'm attracted to the smart type women She also has a bachelor's of science degree in Industrial Engineering.

Zayra's wiki link complete with a picture of her looking like a deer caught in headlights:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zayra_Alvarez

I just went to her myspace. A song there 'This is Love' rocks. Not sure if it was there last year, maybe.

http://www.myspace.com/zayra

I'm hoping to see a big production by her!

I hate to hear that it was canceled but last season really was a joke, even though some of the performers were really good. I don't blame the house band for bailing out of the tour, they were all too good to be playing to Crue, Metallica, & GNR fans.

I started digging Rafael so much that I bought a Les Paul just like his! What he did on some of those INXS songs was amazing!!

I was really hoping to get another established band with established hits that the elimination nominees had to perform to stick around. Like QUEEN!!! (I guess they are happy with Paul Rodgers though)

Have you guys seen/heard this story about Motley Crue suing one of their managers for getting Tommy involved in reality TV in the first place?

at the bottom of the article it reads:

UPDATE: Tommy Lee's lawyer Barbara Berkowitz tells TMZ that her client isn't involved in the case. In an email, Berkowitz writes, " Mr. Lee was neither consulted regarding this matter nor authorized the lawsuit. Mr. Lee has not made any allegations against his current personal manager. Mr. Lee feels fortunate to have been part of the Motley Reunion tour, as well as other opportunities outside of Motley Crue over the past several years. It is unfortunate that others believe that they all could have made more money had Mr. Lee exclusively participated in the band that he co-founded in 1980. "

Info on Chris Pierson

Hey everyone! I just thought I would update you on what Chris Pierson is doing now.

I have been working with Chris for a year now. Chris has put together a stellar new band, released an EP titled "The Height Of Paranoia" and will be starting the 2nd leg of "The Height Of Pararnoia" tour in October.

Chris & the Band hit the midwest in May and it was a huge success, gaining him a following with fans traveling 3 hours to see his next show! We have an Official Chris Pierson Fan Site http://www.chrispierson.org with a Message Board, pics, videos, a link to Chris's Merchandise store & more! Come check it out, join the message board, help spread the word! We are always adding more of everything as we get it.

I have the link to Chris's music myspace http://www.myspace.com/chrispiersonmusic And we also have Street Team myspace pages for each region of the country, East, Midwest, Southwest & the West Coast. They can all be accessed from Chris's myspace page. So iif you have a myspace, send an add request.

I hope this info has helped, and take a listen to the new songs, they ROCK!
Take Care!
