Does anyone have pictures of Coaster Taupe Showtime installed in their Theater?

We are going back and forth trying to decide on the black Coaster Showtime chairs or the taupe Coaster Showtime chairs. Has anyone actually purchased the taupe Showtime chairs and if so any pictures of them installed?

Thanks!
Jeff

Well I answered my own question...I bought some! So just in case someone else is wondering how the taupe seats look in real life, here ya go:

Hope the pictures help some of you.

Jeff

Jeff,

QUick questions about the taupe Showtimes. I tried in vain to look for a retailer.

Are you still happy with them now several months later?
The leather appears more smooth or more towards rough pattern? My wife would like the smooth type, bu I can't tell from the pictures.

Thanks a lot
Sorin

Yes I am still happy with the chairs, they are very comfy. Just to give you a bit more detail the cupholders are black and the recliner release lever is faux wood grain plastic. The leather is smooth and not rough. I would say that the armrest is at about the same height as the armrests on my other sofas. The chairs are easy to assemble but it really is a two person job.

The latch that holds the footrest is a bit stiff at first so it makes latching the footrest after you are done reclining a tad challenging but they break in with use. My center chair (which gets the most use) is very easy to latch now. So after the chairs get some use this latching process gets very easy.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Laters,
Jeff

what's the width of your room? what's the width at the widest part of the arc'd chairs? I see a lot of places that have different dimensions/widths on these chairs. How about a few pics of people sitting in them upright, footrest up, partially reclined and fully reclined just to see how they sit, how they hit you, etc. Also height of person/model in seats Thanks if it's not too much. I'm still really considering these chairs.

The total width of any three Coaster Showtime chairs is 101". A lot of places will advertise it as being 93.75", but that's just what it says in our dealer catalogs.

Chair

Thanks Kyle. I'm looking for a set of 3 similiar chairs, but about 90" wide. Is there anything out there? I think the Matinee chairs are about that width, but I've read here they're not very comfortable.

The width of the room is 11' 6". I wish I had seen your request for having people in the chairs earlier. I will see what I can do about that but I wouldn't get your hopes up on that request. I will see if I can get the chairs to recline without anyone in them. I will also verify the measurements for you.

Laters,
Jeff

You're welcome! I would advise against the Matinee's. Although I appreciate Coaster and most of their other imports, this is one that I won't even advertise on our site. The only other option that I carry is the Berkline 088 (or similar frames from Berkline).

Does anybody else have pics? I saw the pics here:

http://www.htauthority.com/index_fil...on7555Zoom.htm

That swatch looks like what I'd expect taupe to look like, but the actual pic of the seats look like more of an ivory/white color.....as do the original poster's pics?

Chad,

the swatch is accurate, the catalog picture is not. Eq's pics are darker than the catalogs but in real life they would be a little darker. Very deceiving under various lighting conditions.
