What warranty comes on the Berklines in general; and more specifically, on the power recline hardware?

Also what is the difference between a Level 1 and a Level 2 fabric?

crussader,

This info is available on the power buy page on my website, but here it is again:

Warranty:

1 year on the cover and power recline
5 years on cushions
lifetime warranty on springs, construction and reclining mechanism.

What style groups would you suggest for someone 6'4", 240lbs ? I've been looking at the 090's and 45004's. Also do the 090's have lighted cupholders available? Finally, would the box for a single recliner fit in the back of a minivan (without rear two rows of seats). I'm trying to figure out if I could store them in my parents garage and move them one at a time to my house after I finish the basement theater that I am just starting.

Thanks,
Joe

miran2782,

You should change the font color - it is unreadable.

Anyway, for your size and height I would look into taller recliners:

075 (has adjustable headrest), 091, 094, 099, 187, 45001, 45012

Any of these will be better for you than 090 or 45004.

I am not sure if the box will fit into the minivan, but you can always take the chair out of the box (the back cushion of off), and easily fit it this way.

miran2782,

I am 6'4", 241lbs and I have sat in a 090. No problem at all, actually very comfortable and adequate, even had about 1.5-2" of space from my hips to the arm rests. I wear a size 38-40 waist as well if that helps.

075's adjustable headrest is a cool option though.

Make sure you try them out first. Many of the Berklines, IMO, have a similar feel with varying softness. But to me the 075s feels totally different. I'm not saying worse, just different.

tneal,

I agree with you 100%. Many Berkline style groups are based either on 088s or 090s and have the same seat/armrest, but a different shape/size of the back cushion. The 075 is a different chair with the firmer CMAX cushion and rounded armrests. It is important to try them first.

Do some fabic patterns/colors take longer to deliver than others? If so, is there any way to know which choices would cause a delay on an order?

David,

It is impossible to predict. It all depends on what the Berkline has in stock at the time the order is placed. Sometimes when they do not have enough covers to complete the order, it will be delayed even only one chair is not finished. They will only release a full order and will not do partial shipping. I have seen cases when non popular covers are being shipped very quickly, and very popular ones being delayed. Again it is impossible to know.

Hi rsh,

Are there any promotional or "super special" fabrics (wife hates leather/vinyl) that Berkline is trying to clear out on the 088's? I'm of course not asking for a price here, just wanted to know if there was any anything exta special being offered due to overstock, discontinue, etc. before I look thru all the color that are available.

Thanks

There are some saving on group 2 fabric - padded suede 3133-27 gray and 48 red, but availability is very low, and not all pieces available at the deeply discounted price. how much you save will depend on the pieces you need. Contact me directly, and let me know what exactly you are looking for...

No problem - many people do not take time to read the whole page where I try to put as much info as I can...

Can you tell me what the differences are between the 094 and 187 (other than the tray table)?

FYI: If anyone wants to order Berkline Fabric/Leather swatches, I found them online to order for $1 each here.
Roman still has the best hookup though when it comes to pulling the trigger for the actual chair ordering.

David,

It is basically the same chair. The 094 has the tray, which you can mount on top of the armrest and a storage compartment in the armrest. The 094 is the only style group that has the tray.

I read in an old thread that the 187 only comes in leather and is not available in fabric. Is that still the case?

David,

I am not sure where you read this, but it is not true. The 187 is available in fabric, leather/vinyl combo or all leather as any other Cinema Collection style groups.

Just FYI, I found it in this archived thread from when the 187 had just come out:

Glad to hear that it's available in fabric as it looks like this might be the model I go with.

I see, funny - I said that...

I guess when it just came out it was not available in fabric - weird. I was a long time ago, and I do not even remember, hmm... Anyway, it is available in fabric now for sure.

Roman,

I seem to remember you saying in a recent thread that the 075 CMAX seating was a bit on the firm side. I'm interested in the 45004's which also are CMAX but don't really want a seat that is too firm. How do the 45004's compare in comfort to the non-CMAX seats (090, 091, 187, ETC...)?

maser,

The CMAX cushion is very nice. It is hard to explain, but I would describe it as being slightly firmer without loosing softens and nice cushioning. Basically it has best of two qualities. It firmer and softer at the same time. I like it better than on the 090s, but the difference is not that dramatic.

I don't want to get quotes for all of these, but I did send an email to the link in the other thread.

I'm interested in a row of 3 for under $1500 and a max length of 115 inches.

Which berklines should I be considering?

I just replied to your request.

It would be very helpful if everyone followed the link to the power buy page and read all about the Power Buy details and provided all required info.

FYI: you have many choices including 088, 086, 45004, 090, 73, 45003, etc, etc, etc... all depends on how tall you are and how your surround sound speakers are set up.

Roman,

I was looking at the information that you have here:
http://www.rtheaters.com/powerbuy/

Could you provide a little bit of clarification on the "promotions" section?
Are the items listed under promotions being offered at a further discount that others, or is this list the only options available in the power buy?
For example:
"2. Berkline 090 in leather/vinyl only 7049 colors 29 BLACK"

Does that mean that I can't get an all black leather set of 090s using the power buy, or does that mean that Berkline/you are currently offering a really good deal on the configuration listed (but I could buy any that I wanted via the powerbuy)?

Thanks!

PerryH,

The Power Buy as a whole means that you get better deals comparing to already low regular prices that we usually offer (basically we offer an additional discount while running the Power Buys on all style groups, covers, etc.). Everything that we offer regularly is also offered on Power Buy - no exceptions.

The promotions are just what they are. For example the 7049-29 BLACK is group 1 leather, which is offered at discounted price in leather/vinyl combo (comparing to group 1 price), but only this pattern in this color - so yes, it is offered at even deeper discount than similar leathers.

I hope this helps.
