Can Buttkickers be installed inside of Berkline 90 w/power recline ?

Can the kickers be mounted inside the chairs, I have power recline and have no idea of how much space is under each unit

I have been searching but (no pun) intended, My berkline 90 will arrive tuesday, it's a curved seat-lovechair-seat configuration.

C090-A52 090-A87 C090-A53

I have a set of four Buttkickers that I got used that came with
one BA1000-4 Amplifier
one Wireless kit for Amp & LFE's
one Quick select box enable/disable LFE units
Manuals for above and all the wiring necessary to hook it up.

Yes, the buttkickers can be installed. You can do it yourself. The trip to the Home Depot and some cutting plywood and drilling skills will be required

. There is also a buttkicker conversion kit available. The Berkline uses it to install the buttkickers in their chairs. Basically it is a piece of plywood with pre-drilled wholes, bolts and other necessary hardware that allows to install the buttkickers. They even supply rubber isolators, which you put under the feet of the chairs.

I've seen that a bit pricey for what you get, almost 50.00 x 4 =200.00 Just want a best place (not easiest ie dealer) to install picture so I get the best action, what part do I span with the plywood, do I want to span the whole seat ad attache it to the metal frame on both sides from L to R to get optimum performance.

Ken,

It may seem pricey, but when you add all your cost of plywood, hardware and time spending on buying, cutting, drilling, etc... it may end up not looking as expensive as it seems in the beginning. If you do have time, and love DIY, then sure go for it. You do need to cut the board and make it similar to what the Berkline does, so you can attach it to metal railings on both left and right sides of the chair. Then you can mount the buttkicker on top of the board. Make sure that the buttkicker is not in the middle of the board, otherwise it will get on the way of the motor.
