Help: Identify Ottoman from Best Buy/Magnolia

Sorry for the somewhat boring post,but...
Our local (Tampa bay, Florida) Best Buy's Magnolia section has some very nice furniture in it, in a couple of the rooms are large round ottomans, exactly what we need to complete our theater room. However, there are no labels on them as to maker, and the sales/management staff had only a guess (Robb & Stuckey, no dice) as to where they came from. One couch was tagged LIND (Of Canada/Europe - Not the baby furniture maker) but that search yielded a dead end. If anyone knows what the maker of these 48" (assumed) round leather ottomans are, or where they could be bought/ordered, please help us out.

Thanks!

I'll see if I can find out some info for you. When we first put that furniture in the rooms, we also made it available for sale. We have since moved it to a display-only piece. I may be able to find out who makes it, though.

Unfortunately, all I can find out for you is that the company is Lind Furniture (which you already knew). I did find more info at www.lindfurniture.com (although I don't specifically see that ottoman on their website). You can find the closest distributor to your address, however, via their site. I would say that at this point, that particular ottoman is no longer available (based on the selection on their site). That is probably one of the reasons why we stopped carrying it as a sellable piece. Good luck.

JJ,

Thanks for your efforts. I was afraid it would end this way, I guess all I can do is search for a retailer that may have this item still in stock.
Thanks Again

I work at Magnolia.... I believe the chair and ottoman are made by chairworks if I am not mistaken. It is actually an item that can be special ordered through Magnolia

I'll ask this question, do any of you know, about how much those Lind chairs in Best Buy go for. The small light ones, which even appear in the new Magnolias commericals. They are pretty nice chairs.

Thanks.

Vodka--I believe that the ottoman that the original poster was referring to is the larger ottoman that is part of the display in some of the MHT stores--not the individual chairworks pieces that you are thinking of. I actually work as part of the corp team supporting the MHT stores, and I know that the Lind pieces were once available for sale, but they were eventually moved to a display-only piece. The Chairworks pieces are part of the regular sellable stock (individual chairs and matching footrests). The Lind furniture is more like a fixture (larger, living-room style furniture), which is not used in all MHT stores.
