Are you supposed to watch the Widescreen or Fullscreen DVD's on an HDTV?

I dont watch many dvds and always forget as to which one I should be watching on my 16:9

anamorphic (or Enhanced for 16:9 displays)

16x9 is widescreen so you should go with anamorphic widescreen DVDs.

Hey, now he's just asking.

But like said you want widescreen as its a widescreen set. If you were to buy fullscreen you'll get bars to the left and right. And lose what would be their do to croping...

Whatever has the correct aspect ratio (almost always widescreen if there's a separate widescreen version)
