Harmony 880 - Media button

I have heard there is a way to change the behavior of the Media button to do something other than bring up favorite channels. There is no option in the edit buttons section of the software. Any tutorials on how to do this?

thanks

harmony 659 same problem.

the media button is so lame. there is absolutely no logitech documentation on it. from various searches i see its only to control microsoft media centers or something. you can reprogram pretty much every other button. what gives???

No, I do not believe you can do anything else with this button. You used to be able to pull up program guides if set up properly and updated frequently, but I believe Logitech quit supporting this feature.

ahhh great. i set up the "favorite channel" crap.
now the media button brings up a list of my favorite channels on the display.

3 at a time

this is the most rediculous feature anyone could have possibly thought of.
i would say that 98% of the people that own this remote would have an on-screen guide of some sort that displays more than 3 channels at a time.

this might help

The Media button is a special button that cannot be customized (like the Device, Sound and Picture (Pic) buttons). The Media button is dedicated to providing quick, intuitive access to great content such as TV Channel or TV Show listings, CD listings, or DVD listings. --- from logitech website

but i still love my 880... had it almost a year now
