I have a extra center channel speaker, Is 6.1 worth it over 5.1?

Bought the reference IV Klipsch series a few months back and just remembered I still have my center channel sony, Is adding a center channel in the back really worth it?

Does your receiver have the capacity to do 6.1? If it does I would say its worth a try. Some do not like a single rear center hence the 7.1 setup, but I think best thing to do is experiment with it.
