What should I do?
My girlfriends father would like to set up a multiple room sound system. He basically just wants quality stereo sound going to his garage, back patio, basement, and surround in his living room. He doesn't want to exceed 1500 dollars for this, and he's also not an audiophile or anything. Just wants music going to all those rooms and surround for movies in living room. Is it possible to get something like a Denon 687 model receiver, and connect the zone 2 output to an amp, then split off 3 rooms from that amp? Anyone recommend an inexpensive amp that could do this for me? Or one that has channel switching so he can run any combination of rooms at one time? Thanks!

Niles SS-4 Speaker Selector or these: Niles VCS100 Volume Control You can use any power amp with the switch (or the 2 extra channels on some 7.1 receivers) for Zone 2. If you do need an inexpensive amp, Audio Source makes decent, multi-room equipment for the money: http://www.amazon.com/AudioSource-Am...&s=electronics |
