cool ill look at that one to.if i can get a out door antenna to fit in my attic would that be better?the opening is pretty small so im not sure if i can get the antenna thru it. id guess its like 30 inches wide.some one told me the roof shingles hurt the singal preety bad. but i think a direct site aproach it goes more thru the side of the atic and not the roof im like at 1140 feet high and i belive atl where the braodcasters are are more like 1020 or something

In general higher and bigger is better. Results vary though. Antenna reception must be one of the least scientific sciences out there. Every situation will have different terrain, obstacles, multipath, etc. that no antenna designer or antennaweb can predict.
The opening to your attic should be fine. Remember they have to ship the things. They come in the box folded up. Just make sure the opened antenna can be placed in your attic once it is up there. Your plan to aim through a side wall instead of the shingles is a good one. Hopefully that is also the direction of your broadcasters. I aim through plaster lathe and wood siding and it works fine.
