Anyone using DVI on Dish811 receiver?

I am about to put together a theater room and noticed my Dish811 receiver has DVI out. Anyone using this? Am I going to notice any difference from the current component hookups?

I suppose it would depend upon the display device you're trying to feed.I tried using the DVI to my Sanyo Z5 and it put a nasty looking picture in the lower right hand corner for some reason. The Component seems ok.
